Sonnet
With a burnt house, he had nowhere to run
No place to call home, no place to have fun.
Guy had injured his leg during the fight
Would he be able to last the whole night?
Now a fugitive, police were hunting
And there was no time to stand there grunting.
While walking, he heard a radio
“War has been declared”, did anyone know?
Guy Montag went to find his only friend
Seeking advice so his life wouldn’t end.
Faber said to follow the “railroad lines”
If he did so, then he would be just fine.
Guy found a group of men who he could trust
Then a bomb turned the city into dust.
